Well. It's been a long time. I haven't blogged regularly for nearly two years and nothing at all for about six months. I think I'm starting up again.

Once I went to an Ethiopian restaurant and ordered alecha. I thought it would be like the alecha my family always has…mostly carrots, potatoes, and cabbage or Swiss chard. It was cabbage with hamburger meat. My uncle suggested that Ethiopians really like meat and that the next time I ask for alecha ye tsom. Alecha is a mixture and sometimes you just don't know what you'll get.
